Welcome to the Memorial challenge, the newest Pokemon Game challenge!
The purpose of the challenge is to survive all the game with 6 Pokemon. You trade, hack or catch all of these before the first gym. If one faints, it must be released and you continue with the Pokemon you got left. If all of your Pokemon die, you have lost the challenge
Good Luck!
Possible ways to get Pokemon - Choose 6 - Ask your friends for 6 random Pokemon - RNG them - Catch the first different 6 Wild Pokemon you see
Extra Rules - No Pokemon center use - No ™ usage - No Items use - Extra rules may be submitted

Just 6 random pokemon. That could probably become a massive disaster. No Pokecenter, TM, nor item usage? Doesn't that challenge seems rather nigh impossible... Is healing at home, rest-houses, doctors, nurses etc. allowed?

So. These six pokemon... When I roll the numbers, I have to stay with them, Uber or not? What if (by ridiculous chance) none of them are able to learn a necessary HM?! Use a cheat code to walk though walls and over water?

I doubt you should add all those extra rules together anyway, Chaos. Seemingly, the only way to restore HP is by moves or leveling up, and the only way to restore PP is by learning new level up moves. So yes, adding all extra rules simultaneously seems rather impossible. If you NEED a HM to progress in the game, you can use an HM slave to use the HM (no using it in battle however, and depositing it ASAP).

Ok, I see now... Thanks for the info. When my game schedule clears up, I'll do a challenge of Soul Silver.

Ok... I plan to do a challenge run of SoulSilver. Simply because I haven't played either Gen 2 remake yet, and I like Lugia much more. Yes, this is going to be mostly blind... but I'm not much of a careless person when it comes to Nuzlocke. The starter 'mon will be changed to my preferred 'mon of choice in the team and h opefully, the rival's 'mon can be changed as well. The rest of the 'mons in my team will be hacked into the game afterwards. ~ ChaosSigma0's Pokemon SoulSilver Memorial Challenge Rules~ *) Fainted pokemon are considered as dead. If the team dies, the challenge has been failed. **) The randomly generated team will not have starter or legendary pokemon in it. (to reduce cheapness) ***) HM slaves are permitted, though they must not gain even a single EXP point.
Here is my randomized team I ended up with: (I even spent time to think of good, clever nicknames to give them.) Rapidash (Blaise) Gastrodon-West (Lillian) Sneasel (Remy) Medicham (Shana) Altaria (Melody) Roselia (Basil)
I'm plan to start today at around 16:00. Wish me luck!

Good luck. Besides, I do not know how you randomized, but I feel you lucked out quite a bit with good type coverage and no really glaring weaknesses. Keep us updated on how you fare in the game.

As for the randomizing process, I used this site >> wyncorporation.com/pokemon/ << for making the teams and rejected any entries that had starters, legendaries or other pokemon with a BST over 600.
It's too bad I didn't get a team with a Gardevoir or an Umbreon... I wanted at least one of them or both, but this was the first honest entry that came up and I went with it.

I'll be recording videos of major battles, and note where and when I come by losses or close calls (besides in those major battles). ~ Close calls (Dec. 29 '13) ~ - (Route 30) Almost losing Blaise to poison from killing a effin' Weedle. I forgot to buy antidotes (something I usually do before setting out). Thankfully, the Random Number Goddess showed me mercy, and the poison faded away at 1 HP. (3 steps from the Pokecenter too...)
Edit 1: I have the Zephyr badge now, and I realized that I can spam Rock Smash to get good stuff I can use or sell! Edit 2: You're kidding me? Poison status doesn't kill your 'mons out of battle? If so, then that pretty generous of the jerk-faced developers to remove that. *sigh* Kids nowadays won't know the panic of walking with a poisoned pokemon (except if they play the older games), especially in a Nuzlocke run.

Poison alsways fades away at 1 HP. (So that is no RNG mercy, just the programming). Nice to see you already beat Falkner.
